doens't turn on at login

in my preferences, I have selected "turn on at login", however, whenever the computer goes to sleep and I log back in, it seems quite inconsistent when the app will turn back on. I went MONTHS forgetting that I had the app installed.

Developer Response ,

I'm so sorry to hear that. You might have been affected by the app rename issue. Previously it was Sluggard. Could you please try unchecking and checking the "Launch at login" checkbox? Thank you.

great idea - lacks key features

I purchased premium so I could set my own activities and challenge intervals. There are a few frustrating things that have led me to search for an alternative: (1) there's no "do not disturb" or scheduled off hours. When I use my laptop and a projector to watch movies with friends, I need to quit the app so it doesn't pop up. That's fine, but I have poor memory (hence the app) and I'll completely forget to turn it back on for extended periods - which sorta defeats the purpose of having it. (2) The activity values (e.g., 10 reps of an activity) may be malfunctioning for me(?). Several activities *always* prompt for 8 reps even though I've set them at 10. (3) The app doesn't have info on how it is supposed to work. For instance, it uses language like "base value" when setting custom activities, but nowhere does it explain what that is supposed to mean. The premium version is supposed to unlock "configurable challenge prompt durations" - How? where do I configure that in the app? There's a portion of the app where you can set your gender, age, and fitness level, but why? That doesn't seem to factor into how the app functions, but maybe it does? All in all, I appreciate the creator's work, but am searching for an alternative because these minor things feel like they limit the app's usefulness more than I'd anticipated.

Use it every work day

Because of COVID, I have been working remotely since March 2020. My life was basically sleep, eat, and work - sitting behind the computer the whole day and not moving. So, in 2020 I started to gain weight and developed a blood clot in my leg.
I installed Simon Says to send me a reminder to get up and move. I go for 5 minute walks or work in the garden for a a bit then go back to work. My weight is decreasing, the swelling in my leg is almost gone and when I sit back down to the computer, I can handle issues better because the 5 minutes away, refreshes my mind.
