- 3. TIME AND THE CROSS • The cross is a potent symbol of the crucifixion of Man in recurrence. • By one hand (the right hand), he is pinned to the past, and by the other (the left hand), he is pinned to the future. • The only possible direction is ascent to higher levels. • However, it is not the physical body that can ascend, only the Kesdjan Body and the Body of Reason.

EARTH, WATER, AIR, FIRE • These six classes of substance exist throughout the universe in various contexts. • Remember that all these worlds exist inside each other and interact with each other. • You do not need to go to the Moon to experience World 96. World 96 can be found in a rock or a pebble. And that rock or pebble may contain substances of all of these six worlds. • Substances congregate around suns, planets and moons because of the Law of Falling. • Substances of the Absolute and World 3 and World 6 permeate what we think of as empty space.

THE HYDROGENS AND THE RAY OF CREATION • The table shows frequency ratios for the Ray of Creation and the Triple Octave (of 22 notes), along with the Hydrogens. • The Hydrogens we are interested in here span the level of the planets up to the level of the galaxy. • Our psychic life happens through structures built with this range of substances.

WHAT IS PLASMA? • Plasma is a state of matter where the matter is electrically charged, either positively or negatively. • In this state, the item of matter is called an “ion” and it is either a molecule or an atom or a subatomic particle. • Thus negative ions (called anions) are either electrons, negatively charged atoms or negatively charged molecules. • Positive ions (called cations) are either protons, positively charged atoms or positively charged molecules. • Negative ions can be thought of as having an electron surplus and positive ions an electron deficit.

SOME FUNDAMENTALS OF ELECTRICITY • Coulomb’s Law: |F| = k |q1 x q2|/r2 • This is identical to the attraction by gravity which has led some to believe that gravity is simply a manifestation of electrical attraction. • Capacitors depend upon the attraction of opposite charges. (A dielectric is a non-conducting medium capable of transmitting electric force.) • The diagram of current flowing between parallel wires is to demonstrate that with electric flow two fields are created: a magnetic field which is analogous to kinetic energy and an electric field which is analogous to potential energy. • Lines of a magnetic field surround while the lines of the electric field connect.
- 8. ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION • EMR is a substance. It clearly varies in density, from the highest level (H3) down to H48 or H96. • The question of the existence of Aether is simply: if light propagates in waves then what are those waves traveling in? The natural answer is Aether. • Sound waves travel through air, liquids and solid objects. • Waves of force travel in and on water. They can also travel in and on solid material as happens in an Earthquake. • EMR is a means by which other galaxies can communicate with our sun and galaxy. Also it is possible that they can communicate using neutrinos.

MAN’S USE OF ELECTRICITY • Since 1930 (when the Tales was written) US electricity consumption has risen from 100 bn KW hrs to 4000 bn KW hrs - a factor of 40. • According to The Tales the extraction of electricity destroys two parts (of three) of the omnipresent Okidanokh. (This must create an imbalance). • The “naively egoistical aims” can only be: electric light, electric motors (and the devices they enable), electronic communications, computing and electronic entertainment. • It is not clear what the immediate results of the destruction of omnipresent Okidanokh are. Gurdjieff refers only to the consequences. “And when during the further explanations of Gornahoor Rakhoorkh, I, by association, remembered the request of the great Toof-Nef-Tef of the planet Mars, I then with all my being became aware without any doubt of all the maleficent consequences of just this manifestation of the three-brained beings of your planet. “They named the totality or the separate parts of this substance, sacred just for them, differently at different periods, and at the present time they name the result of the blending and the mutual destruction of two parts of this omnipresent substance ‘Electricity.’ “And, indeed, although there they had already several times in earlier epochs found out, of course thanks always to accidentally successive circumstances, how to extract by various means from the nature of their planet, and to use for every kind of their, as I already said, ‘naively egoistic’ aims, various parts of this omnipresent substance absolutely necessary for normal cosmic processes, yet never have they destroyed so much of it as in recent times. “So in this way, thanks to the explanations of my ‘Kesdjanian-result-outside-of-me,’ in the first place it became indubitably clear to me concerning the maleficent action, already begun, of the results of the ordinary abnormal being-existence of the three-brained beings who have taken your fancy; and secondly, the disturbing question of my old friend was solved of itself, namely, why during recent times it had become more and more difficult for the three-brained beings of the planet Mars to perfect themselves. THE DYNAMO & ELECTRIC MOTOR • A Dynamo generates direct electric current from kinetic energy. • A Generator generates alternating current from kinetic energy. • An Electric motor generates kinetic energy from an electric current. • Most electricity generation capability — Coal, Gas, Nuclear, Geothermal, Hydroelectric, Wind power and Wave/Tidal power — is using kinetic energy. • Solar power can generate electricity in that way too but can also use photovoltaic cells.

- 12. IS THERE FORM IN PLASMA? Exhibit 1 Exhibit 2 Exhibit 3 • Yes, there definitely is. • Exhibit 1: Russian experiment in space with plasma. (Search on YouTube for “plasma in space experiment English subtitles”) • Exhibit 2: There is a fourth state of water, nicknamed EZ Water by its discoverer. • Its formula is H3O2. It is ionic and hence it is plasma. • Exhibit 3: A solid chink of EZ water. (Search on YouTube for “Jerry POLLACK , The Fourth Phase of Water , 2019”)

PLASMA DOUBLE LAYERS • Plasma double layers are structural barriers that form in plasma. • The illustration shows a negatively charged body (such as a planet) within a positively charged region (such as the solar wind within our solar system). • The spherical atmosphere of the body can be bounded by a “double layer of plasma” formed from paired positive and negative ions. • There can be many double layers on top of each other. • Double layers create the boundaries for the magnetosphere of planets.

BIRKELAND CURRENTS The Cosmic Web of Galaxies • Plasma structures and behaviors scale, apparently perfectly. • Thus it is possible to create in the lab what is observed at much larger scale, for comets and planets and suns and galaxies • The Birkeland currents were identified by Norwegian scientist Kristian Birkeland as being the cause of the Aurora Borealis - ionic currents from the sun. • They connect galaxies to galaxies, suns to suns, suns to planets, planets to moons and so on. • The sheaths along which the ions travel are formed of double layers. This is how the universe is wired.
- 15. BIRKELAND CURRENTS: THE INNER CYLINDER(S) Neurone Galactic Web • The “inner cylinder” of a Birkeland current itself has structure. There are 4 cylinders within this inner cylinder. • The outer layer is Helium (an inert noble gas). The other layers are dominated by the elements of life: H, O, N, C, S, Fe, Si, & Mg • This is the “neural traffic” of the Universe.

INNER STRUCTURES: MERIDIANS, ETC. • The meridians of acupuncture are plasma structures. • In particular the triple burner/warmer (a meridian which relates to circulation) does not even have an organ associated with it. • The Tan Tien (the power center in the gut, 2/3 inches below the navel) has no physical manifestation, but you know it’s there. • There are also the chakras (of the hindu tradition) and the latifas of the Sufi tradition. • Almost every major tradition of knowledge refers to invisible inner structures.

INNER STRUCTURES: THE LOWER CENTERS • Gurdjieff gave the following diagram to explain the way that energy is fed to the four lower centers. • A large accumulator feeds two small accumulators for each center. • When a small accumulators exhausts we feel tired and the supply switches. If we exhaust both we will feel very tired. • At that point a super-effort can provide access to the large accumulator. • This is an incomplete picture because it shows no “transformers.”

THE LARGE ACCUMULATOR • The substances of the large accumulator are, probably, re24, fa24, la24 and la6. • It is clear from the Food Diagram that the physical body is the foundation on which plasma structures are built. • This is the only map available that relates substances we are familiar with to invisible substances. • However once we consider the nature of a lower center, it is clear that there are structures within structures at different levels of density.

THE LOWER CENTERS • The different parts of centers work with different energies. • The moving part of the moving part of the intellectual is the basis for the formatory apparatus and works with H48. • Each of the centers have their own “rolls” for recording memories, which are not shown here, but which must also be H48. • There are communication links between centers, particularly between the fromatory apparatus and all lower centers. • We live almost all the time in the moving parts of centers and this is how our mechanicality functions.
